It's all about recognition ![]() In all seriousness, there's a long history of targeting public services of every description, and the Beeb itself. Putting 'From BBC NI' on it would mean it looked like a package from one department to the other. Though in this case it wouldn't surprise me if the sender's address partly triggered all this. |

I'm thinking it might have been more of a 'recording lense' bit of electronics kit than a full-on camera, hence it being in the bottle. They were also possibly looking at a scan that didn't show much detail ![]() |
