It's a shame they only caught them out on the strawberries - this is more of a pattern of behaviour than a one off incident. How many times have you seen supermarkets bump a price a week before reducing it and claim that it is massively discounted?

Pets at Home prices for rabbit food and hay shot up recently but immediately was on a 2-for-something offer. Now the offer has ended the hay is on "sale" at the original lower price before the [LIFTED] price hike and subsequent offer.

The fines are not enough to act as a deterrent. They are simply an additional cost of business. They need to be much higher to stop this happening.
