They should bankrupt him and set an example to other such con-men. Though considering the scale of his crime maybe he should be sent to the countries where he committed these crimes so he can spend some time in their prisons.

I dont get this. What happens to the makers/vendors of anti wrinkle creams, vitamin supplements, homeopathics, purveyors of various religious "faiths", weapons of all sorts, medical drug treatments that cost more than a kidney and not to mention charlatans :(
There are plenty of companies purveying goods with no credible evidence to back up their claims. Is caveat emptor no longer relevant, due diligence a thing of yesterday.
Just because... is all.

Yes but his case was outright fraud with some machines having no working parts.

In most cases it is also fraud. Many of the anti-wrinkle creams are next to useless. If you want to avoid wrinkles you need to avoid the things that cause skin damage like smoking or sun bathing. I look much younger than my real age because I stopped smoking at 8 and avoid sun bathing. If I get any sun it is purely coincidental from walking somewhere.

The only true religion is the Force so all other religions are simply well organised cults. ;) Many medical treatments are valid but the price paid is another matter. Homeopathy might have psychosomatic benefits like placebos, and that could also be applied to religions.

The problem is that they all seem to be obsessed with helping exports even if over the long run they damage the nations reputation.
