Case didn't have a leg to stand on, etc.

One of my favourite comedy lines; Peter Cook and Dudley Moore. I think former was interviewing the latter, who had applied for the part of playing Tarzan, despite only having one leg.

Cook says "I like your right leg. It's a good leg. I've got nothing against it. The problem is neither do you.."

I think Dispatches on Channel 5 did a programme about the medical assessment errors and one soldier with an amputated leg was asked repeatedly about his other leg, and were flummoxed when he could not do the foot movements with a missing leg. :roll:
