He may be a clone but he won't 'be' John Lennon. Lennon was a product of his genes but also his environment, upbringing, relationships and friends. None of those things are available any more.

You won't get John Lennon though. It may be that the latent talent for lyrics and music are there, but they could manifest themselves in many ways.
