Impossible they are almost all on zero hour contracts. This is a sound bite for the public not for carers or anyone else.

The "carers" he is talking about are normal people in normal jobs who need flexible working regimes to look after frail relatives. This much is entirely clear from even the most cursory reading of the story linked.

Your obsession with zero hours contracts is getting almost as bad as that thing you have about house prices, and is clouding your ability to comprehend to a similar extent.
