Reminded me of a springer spaniel we used to have - it would have been the Max Smart of spy dogs given a chance. Born and bred farm dog that used to sit there studying the birds that were eating her food. She came with us back to Belfast and got into various scrapes including ripping a hole in a bedsheet and consequently walking around in a circle with the rotary washing line, and running away for a week to the shipyard, living off the workers' sandwiches.
