This has really got my goat up :!:

I have for the 1st time written to a CEO (for something that is not a failure of a Co providing a service directly to me) - 'Julian.Drury@nationalexpress.com' to express (no pun intended) my outrage

Now some of you will know I work for the Tube and full understand Pol & procedure esp for stopping trains etc but next time it happens the staff may well follow process and possibly let the passenger die

Grrrr

I read the story in the Mirror and he should have pressed the button to warn the signal box. If it was too far away it could have been ineffective trying to press the button as the train could have raced past the signals before the woman was rescued. There needs to be a way of avoiding such issues, maybe like a panic button like old people wear around their necks when at home alone? He could press that and then jump in. Suspending him or firing him is wrong.

Jobsworths need sacking not people who break the rules and save lives.
