People can't be arsed to analyse their exact driving performance every few hundred yards. They'll either look at the car's own mpg display or just see how much they spend at the pump.

Anyway, last time I looked Nissan seemed to be disappearing from Britain's roads. I still see more late 90's Micras on the road than the last two model Micras put together. Do they even sell Focus sized cars anymore? Other than the odd Chelsea tractor you don't hear from them any more.
