I saw an advert this evening for a BBC Series about dogs. Looked like interesting viewing. Some time Thursday night IIRC. |

Dogs are pack animals and the baby is another member of the pack so of course it is going to be defensive towards another pack member. It is good that they noticed what the dog was trying to tell them. |

Dogs are good with babies. My mum used to leave me (in my puch chair) with the dog while she went in the shops.* If anyone had tried anything the dog would have hag their legs. *This was the very early 80's. Obviously people wouldn't do that today. |

When I was a baby our dog tried to look totally bored by the even but when my parents left the room she would jump up and look after me. Pulled me from those old electric bar fires a couple of times. |
