The notion that the majority are gonna give up their schedules, forget it. Soaps, sports, 'reality TV'... all have dedicated followers who these days are on their phones as it's happening. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy lots of services, but there are people much more dedicated to their TV broadcasts than I am

I watch the vast majority of my TV on my iPad with the TVCatchup app. I can still play games on the computer at the same time, and then carry it to bed when I get tired. The catchup services are a plus, but I only use them when I actually miss something. I am more than happy with Freeview so no need to subscribe to Netflix yet.

I watch all my TV on the television. I don't watch any specific series. If there is something on, I will watch, otherwise I'll read or play a board or card game with the family.
