He means you are software and the brain is a computer. You could be downloaded and run in the cloud, like in Serial Experiment Lain. No brains in jars.

All this supposes that your software would remain “sane” in such an environment. Science Fiction repeatedly tells us that this may not be the case.

Also, to go back to a Dennis Potter TV play, you have to ask: who would own the copyright on such material.
