It happens all over the place. I suspect that many private companies have their promotions decided in the bedroom. I knew of one woman who was in the marketing department who got to go on a lot of sales trips with the marketing director. It got a decent pay rise as well. |

Our bosses girlfriend got the promotion when a new senior position was created. Now she is OK at her job BUT lets just say it was an open secret that it was not worth anyone applying for the job |

It is not so bad if they are good at their job, but that is not always the case. I think that the fact that it was the BBC was the reason that the Telegaph ran with the story. |

Yeah, it's widely believed that a guy at our place had a girl from another building moved over to ours. |
