My doctor was really pushing the walking angle the other week - I walk everywhere anyway, but I doubt he's taking his own advice in his ridiculous skinny jeans, and not with a fancy Audi parked outside either

When we had Jack, I'd walk at least an hour a day, more at weekends, when I'd go with him on a long walk in the afternoon. Without the dog, it is difficult to get myself motivated to go out for 30 - 40 minutes in the evening, after a hard day at the office. Can't wait until we get Lulu.

My fiancé and I also go out regularly for walks together, although we are hoping with Lulu that we will cycle more, as she will be small enough to fit in the basket, when she gets too tired, Jack was too big for that 80cm and 40Kg.

Walk at least 30 mins (at least 2 miles) a day at a brisk pace during the week commuting, they miss the psychological benefits of exercise in the article though

It also goes towards that 10000 steps a day that is also recommended.
