The fact that he is behind bars is worth a lot more than the financial cost.

It's a disgrace that it came to this in the first place - and he's just one of the latest sex crime cases where it's happened.

The problem is that some of the accused in the recent cases are innocent and they might still have to live with the scandal even if cleared. This man was probably considered not to be a threat so it was not worth locking him up.
