Women should be allowed to be bishops. I've seen quite a few female vicars at friend's weddings. They were all good.

Why are we debating this? It should be allowed already. Religion or not they should be made to comply with the law or be stripped of their charitable tax status. Simples.

They shouldnt have charitable status in the first place.

Whether we approve of them or not, the fact is churches (and mosques and synagogues etc) do as many 'charitable works' in the UK as anybody else. If they're prepared to use their resources to help those in need, they deserve the status as much as the anyone else who does.
