WARNING - There's some seriously grim details here

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/ia ... ps-2854744

Now, that's obviously all a bit tabloid, but I hope it gets the follow-up review it deserves.

I can't wait until science/technology is advanced enough that we can 'look inside' the heads of people like that, cos I'm not sure even a god complex or something cuts it.

If there was ever that technology they would use it against us. Though why did they take so long to do anything about him if warned?

A 30-something prostitute walks into a police station and says "my ex boyfriend has paedophile fantasies"...

Beyond the general lack of credibility, she was accusing him of wanting to commit a crime, but had no evidence that he had done so.

George Orwell had 'thought crime'. I'm pretty certain telepathic police wouldn't turn out to be the panacea you might think.

Yes many people will have said "I will kill" you at some point in their lives but have done nothing about it. It is just a spontaneous comment and for most people can be ignored. The fact that this musician is a complete scumbag is one thing, trying to stop other cases is another. What is needed is a rational solution, as many innocent people will get caught up in a police investigation if it gets out of hand.

It does depend on whether they were guilty or not. If guilty they should be named.

I believe not naming them is to protect the children not the perpetrators.

Sadly I doubt there's any way of keeping it from the kids these days.

That makes sense then. It would explain why Peaches got into trouble over this.

this case proves that when the truth is exposed the truth is not believed
as the truth is sometimes stranger then fiction ...
