I suspect that he ignored it during their marriage. Cannabis is probably safer than alcohol or tobacco. This is more revenge than anything else.

It's divorce. Any divorce that reaches the courts, the lawyers will (and to some degree they're obliged to) get really nasty. All the dirty laundry of the other partner is fair game. That's why anyone with half a brain cell does everything they possibly can to get it sorted before it gets that far. In the case where both parties are millionaires though it's going to get legal at some point.

I suspect that the divorce lawyers will also see the opportunity to get a much better settlement for their client when it comes to divorce if they can discredit their clients ex. Though her ex has a bigger problem of those pictures of him strangling his soon to be ex wife. Those pictures are very damning and will probably be all that matters .

This isn't about divorce. Their divorce was finalised earlier in the year, this is about a fraud case relating back to when they were still married (which is why both parties are taking the stand) it looks like nothing more than a cheap attempt by CS to sling mud at his ex since he was painted the bad guy in their divorce.
