http://www.techradar.com/news/world-of- ... er-1205896 Seems like a smokescreen, the NSA and our own dear GCHQ seem to have access to just about everything one way or another, and yet they're talking about requests! But it does show they're worried. There's also Revealed: spy agencies' covert push to infiltrate virtual world of online games NSA and GCHQ collect gamers' chats and deploy real-life agents into World of Warcraft and Second Life http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/d ... econd-life 'We'll hide out in Second Life!' |

I suspect that the industry are more concerned with the fallout from the scandal. There is more interest in non US and non UK cloud providers, with hardware sales already falling dramatically in the Far East because of the scandal, the software companies and those that operate in the cloud could be brought down by continual trickle of security problems. Of all the data that the spy agencies get 99.999% is junk. They are draining the seas to catch a few sprats. The terrorists are hardly using online methods anyway. It was because they were not that they struggled to find Bin laden. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD. |
