If he's about the only person you're bringing on in such scenarios, I'd argue that's a problem. But the whole point of free speech is that you can state a view so long as it isn't incitement. And where would banning people like him end? It certainly didn't work when Sinn Fein were defending IRA atrocities; they just got a funny voice-over :lol:

Oh, and Sinn Fein are still doing it, so if you're gonna effectively ban this guy...

That's kind of the issue; they keep rolling him out, even though everyone - including many muslims - tell them he's a fruitcake and doesn't represent anybody but a handful of nutballs. It's basically a horribly tabloid-ish tactic to raise controversy, which it is of course successful at as we see. But it's something that's way beneath what the BBC should aspiring to in journalism terms.
