Longer term this is excellent though I agree with ernie that there will be a huge effort to fudge this. Though since this is a long term target they might try and leave it to future generations to deal with when because of this generation greed and selfishness it will be closer to 90% reductions if nothing is done now. What is needed are shorter targets and ones that will be legally binding within the lifetime of every parliament.
