They've also promised to cut all the taxes & levies that were there to encourage energy providers to use green energy sources rather than coal and gas. |

Which proves that they are not even practising what they preach. The Green levy was to help people cut their fuel bills by improving access to insulation. Now customers will get £50 cut in the gas bill possibly to be offset by an £50 increase in the amount of gas that they have to use. Their only hope is that it is a mild winter. Much longer term with 58% of all of the UK food production within 5 m of sea level it will mean that eventually we have to find new places to grow crops once the big ice-sheets melt and large parts of England are flooded by rising sea levels. They do not care it will make what remaining land even more valuable. |
