In terms of press coverage Nigel can't really lose.

Yes but Kilburn has been like that for decades. ;) For a long time in the UK if it were not because of an ethnic store many would not have a late night corner/convenience store. Brighton has a very large Iranian and Russian population and now Polish and Baltic citizens live there. The Edgeware Road area is very Arabic and Ashford has a lot of Romanians. Balsall Heath In the Midlands has loads from India and south Asia, tehy also have some of the best curry houses in the country. Is this a problem? Not for me. 8-)

Ukip conference ends in feud as millionaire donor Paul Sykes is accused of delay in paying up

I doubt he'll be paying up now...

I do think that there should be a cap on personal donations from all sources and routes. An absolute ban on companies funding sponsoring politicians and parties with unlimited fines to be imposed on any breach. Foreigners and all non voters should be banned from any political donations. Then if UKIP do have a decent support from the public then they will be playing on the same level playing field as the other parties.

My immediate thought was 'take a indigenous resident of Cornwall and an indigenous resident of Sunderland and ask one of them to read out a sentence and then ask the other one what they said'.

What exactly is 'foreign' is, to a degree, subjective.

Given that Farage is a Huguenot/French name, why doesn't Farage feck off back to France?

Yes. A lot of England seems foreign. It sees to be aping a foreign land where intolerance and hatred were the norm, and we all know where that led.

Quote:
"In scores of our cities and market towns, this country in a short space of time has frankly become unrecognisable," Farage told his audience in Torquay. "Whether it is the impact on local schools and hospitals, whether it is the fact in many parts of England you don't hear English spoken any more. This is not the kind of community we want to leave to our children and grandchildren."

They're only foreign folk, not [LIFTED] demons, you bigoted pr!ck.

There's nothing wrong with bits seeming foreign..... except if people start getting hounded in the streets because they aren't a certain ethnicity or religion.
You hear the odd story like that on the news. But that's why it makes the news, it's quite rare.

Without them we also would not get an interesting range of food in the supermarkets. A lot now have a world foods aisle and without them we do not get to try them at home. Is there really a problem with people getting hounded in the streets because they are not foreign?

It does happen, but it's so rare it makes the news when it does.

Sounds familiar, wasn't there an Austrian in Germany last century saying that sort of thing?

That rumbling you hear? It is Santiana turning in his grave, as he gives up on the human race.
