http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-26413024 FFS, if he was basing this on something tangible fair enough, but it all reads like the headline-grabber he's being accused of. And I can't help thinking that it's about the much wider issue of ostracization in society; if you're not running with the herd, who are you? |

How about the Christians who teach their kids creationism? Or that gays will go to hell? or that women's place is at home? Stop hitting on the visible minorities |

Or those being exposed ton extreme Marxism? Or extreme Capitalism? It’s an idiotic thing for him to say, and plays nicely into the UKIP/BNP mindset. |

I saw a program last night were Boris was justifying some pretty retrograde stuff on the basis of what was, by any other name, 'trickle down economics'. I think someone who may possibly *shudder* once be our Prime Minister believing that pile of fetid dingo's kidneys is much worse for us as a society than what religious people may or may not tell their children. Trickle down has been completely discredited as a policy but they have not learnt that one yet. |

It was probably deemed that he could do far less damage in politics than he could in business or overseas affairs. ![]() |
