Actually, how will news of Twitter's outage spread around the internets? Do they have a back-up twitter for such a situation???

But what will Rory Cellan-Jones have to blog about on the BBC web site now? It's all about Twitter all the time. He'll have to go and find some real tech news to womble on about instead.
