BBC Clickety:
Bob Crow, RMT union general secretary, dies

The trade union movement has a rather large hole in it.

Have to admit there were times I thought Crow was a right a!!ehole, but the fact is what he was doing was his job, which was to get the best possible conditions and pay for the members of the union he represented. I suspect, aside from anyone else, the RMT's members will be worse off for his passing.

He used to drink in The Rocket, in Euston, next door practically to the RMT offices.
My friend was the assistant manager, and as it turns out, the man was a [LIFTED].

I feel sorry for his family, but I've nothing good to say about his politics or his hipocracy.

Contrarily, I would enjoy his occasion tv spots, and thought he talked a lot of sense. Each to their own. RIP Bob Crow

Isn't it surprising that every union leader is painted as a lefty extremist and/or as a arrogant empire builder by those that they oppose? Funny that.

Can you defend a man taking up valuable social housing when he's on a six figure sum? I can't.

You make it sounds like he was using a whole estate. His arrangements were certainly questionable, but let's not get hyperbolic.

Just pointing out some of his hipocracy.
