Unlike the last Labour government, which was absolutely delighted with Aunty Beeb, and never took any action to persecute her. |

The BBC rattled a few cages which contained some ugly beasts when Labour was in power. I always thought it was their job to do such things. Sadly, they seem to have less zeal in such matters than before. |

I think the fact that the head of the Trust (think that's his position) is a former chair of the Conservative party. Just the complete absence of reporting on the breaking up of the NHS shows just how soft they are being. |

It does talk about the NHS, but always in terms that are “government friendly”. It’s Chris Patton who is chairman of the BBC Trust.
