I think I'll keep with GMT here. I can use the +1 TV channels to keep times appearing synchronised.

I would prefer a system whereby all clocks and programmes automatically synchronised themselves incrementially over the six month period whereby you wouldn't have a jump forwards or backwards. FWIW when the clocks go back an hour, I've historically used that extra hour as part of the time I spend cleaning the car.
