Which means they have to rake back the increased costs elsewhere, aka the consumer.

Whilst it is a victory, it could also mean that we will see the cost of broadband raise to a "realistic" level or caps will come in.

Deutsche Telekom are talking of throttling DSL accounts if they go over 75GB in a month, I used to regularly download 200 - 300GB a month, when I was testing SUSE.

Rather that than let the cnuts actually believe they can ransom the net. Anyway, there's too much churn in their customer base for them to do anything too silly, and far too many other options to their TV and phone deals these days. The ISPs aren't the behemoths they might think they are, even in the States.
