This is of interest here, as the place in question is in the same area as the home where my grandma ended up. It’s a very hard choice to make - we had little time to make a decision, yet we knew that the decision that was to be made was very important. It’s hard to judge care homes when you are basically being shown round by a sales rep in a nurse’s uniform (this is how one presented themselves).
I think we made the right choice, but this shows how a posh looking place can disguise a chamber of horrors. The home in question has a statement on its home page: http://www.olddeanery.com
