Not spending £45k a year on private school fees would be a start

It's the torygraph so I expect them to cover this kind of crap. I'm on half that and the last place I went "out" to eat was at Nandos.

Quote:
“I recently heard a parent say, 'You can tell the middle-class parents, because they will go to almost any lengths to send their child to an independent school’,” says Janette Wallis of The Good Schools Guide. “There is a spirit that even where they can’t afford school fees, they will use what resources they have to move house to be in the catchment area of a good state school or pay for tutoring for the 11-plus.”

It's a tax on rich people so that everybody else don't have to go to class with kids called Binky

My heart [LIFTED] bleeds

  1. Stop being snobbish
  2. Move out of Farnham to somewhere cheaper
  3. Get a smaller house
  4. Send Tom and Harry to a state school
  5. Stop spending money on things like oak worktops, wood-fired stoves and expensive melamine cupboards
  6. Learn to budget - you're paid £120k a year for pity's sake
  7. Eat the dog
Tossers

+1 except I'd eat the pony instead of the dog

Yeah, struggling to feel sympathy for anyone claiming they can't make ends meet with a budget four times the size of mine.
