Having more women in the place won't change a damn thing, why would it? My workplace has a relatively disproportionate amount of women - there's still sexism (read: banter), controversial comments (banter that once in a blue moon goes too far), snide remarks, gossiping, an almost entirely female middle-management team that thinks they can treat the staff any way they like, men and women who just accept that... Having more women in Westminster won't stop the career-driven arseholes we always end up with!

To anyone who think women MPs' will some how be nicer or less partisan or more cooperative than male ones I give you Esther McVey, a woman who seems to have based her entire political career on kicking people when they're down.

I think women tend to be more aggressive as they have to face more adversity. They may also be perceived to be harsher as they are expected t to be nice and gentle.
