http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/m ... o-be-fired IME, female bosses almost always make everybody miserable*, though I've seen some utter d1ckhead males do that too. * I can think of at least three who took their home lives out on the staff, would snap at innocent staff members after getting angry with one, blame the staff for their mistakes, make utterly irrational decisions for the sake of 'neatness'... |

I've only had positive experiences with female bosses over the years. |

I've never had a female boss. But my wife has, and she was a bitch to other women. Treated any smart woman under her as a threat and made their lives hell. Apparently she was okay with men working for her though. |

I got the distinct impression from the article that a major contributing factor against woman CEO's was they were more likely to be corporate outsiders and hence were under greater pressure and scrutiny to deliver than an internal candidate (who were more likely to be male as a consequence of a still male dominated boardroom). It didn't explicitly state what the difference (disregarding gender) between the tenure of internal versus external candidates in CEO positions was. I've had a mix of male and female bosses over the years and in general have got on well with all of them. |

I have had both over the years and would say that the percentage of d1ckheads has probably been about the same |
