Dear God, just make it stop.
In the grand scheme of things, Samsung can easily afford to pay whatever fine is levied - they spend $12billion a year on marketing - and however much it is won't have that big an effect on Apple's bottom line. Both companies make roughly $30billion a year profit for pete's sake. The fact is whatever the fine ends up being, Samsung are going to carry on copying other people's ideas - they announced they were going to do a VR headset a couple of months after Facebok bought Oculus Rift and Sony announced their Morpheus project, so it's not as if it's just Apple they do it to. Samsung's business model is patently based on imitation then iteration, not innovation. No fine any court is likely to impose is going to change that. Just let it die.
