Certainly I've heard bad things about HFCS. Interestingly, fructose comes in a 1:1 ratio with glucose in honey. In the past, HFCS was used as "filler" in honey so less of the natural product was used. |

In America I believe they are now allowed to label HFCS as sugar. That was certainly the plan a couple of years back. It is cheaper and doesn't affect the taste dramatically, so the producers wanted to sneak it in the backdoor. |

That proposal was rejected. Sometimes even "in America" bad and stupid things don't happen. |

Good to know. When I was following the argument, it seemed to be a foregone conclusion, but I missed the vote and it all went quiet. |
