I can understand wanting the competition's wares on the cheap, but it sounds like he wants the Beeb to become part of the broadcasting scenery. If this is the footing he's putting the Beeb on now, dear help it when the next government does it's best to screw it and the public over. We all know competition really means 'I'll be looked after once everyone else realises they got shafted' these days.
