A lot of our customers didn't even have dial-up when we acquired them. Most had broadband available, but have never had it connected. As part of the deal when they buy our software is that they must give us VPN access to the hardware and software we install, so that we can support it. I think we have 2 customers left on ISDN, who don't have access to ISDN.
Generally they just have the DSL connection for our support. Some even now have email...
But some businesses just have no need for internet access to run their business. With B2B online ordering, that is slowly changing, but not every business needs an fast internet connection.
