they are really selling everything for a quick buck aren't they? I am surprised they are not privatising bridges, allowing companies to put toll booths on them.
I don't much like Boris but at least he told the other Tories to [LIFTED] off when they told him to privatise and deregulate London transports

Sections of the legacy student loan have already been sold off as I can atest from personal experience.
I know people complain about how rubbish the SLC is but I've found them to be veritable paragons of efficiency compared to the outsourced loans companies.

I'm getting worried :S I still have 11k to repay :S It's relatively easy when dealing with SLC.

The company that had my student loan were very efficient. In my experience far better that the student loan company. Ymmv

I suppose if I'm being honest I've not really had any issues with Honors Student Loans who took on one of my loans many years ago - the main irritation with them was that I had to fill out a deferment application form twice each year (one for SLC and one for HSL) - both from SLC but issued at slightly different times.
Erudio Student Loans have been a massive pain in the backside which I have mentioned in other threads. Worryingly their address seems to be virtually identical to HSL - I suspect they're actually the same parent company trading under 2 separate names.
