Is it the end of the sausage roll?

I like their tuna crunch baguettes but Greggs wouldn't be right if they stop making fatty pastries :( there are dozens of expensive sandwich shops on the high street, very few sausage roll places.

I can see where they're coming from but in all honesty if I want a "healthy" lunch, I go to a place that does nice sandwiches. I go to greggs for a few reasons: usually quick to serve (no time wasting), I want something fatty and salty (eg pasty) or I want something fatty and sweet (eg cake).

If there's a too long a queue, or I want something else, I'll somewhere else.

so true, and you go anywhere south and the greggs slowly start being replaced by places like 'Le pain Quotidien' and 'Pret a Manger.'

This not so South as France, mind
