From the BBC:

Quote:
Former Democratic Unionist Party leader Dr Ian Paisley, 88, has died, his wife Eileen said.

In a statement, Baroness Paisley said her "beloved husband" had "entered his eternal rest" on Friday morning.

"Although ours is the grand hope of reunion, naturally as a family we are heartbroken," she said. "We loved him and he adored us, and our earthly lives are forever changed."

I'm sure there'll be as many who don't mind him dying as there will be those sad about it. A very controversial and divisive figure.

The funny thing is, Martin McGuinness will likely be at the funeral unless they make it family only of course.

From what they were saying on the news today, they had become friends despite their obvious differences.

It'll be a bit like when Maggie did. People who cared either loved him or hated him.

‘Not everyone who says to me, “Lord, Lord”, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only one who does the will of my Father in heaven. On that day many will say to me, “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name?” Then I will declare to them, “I never knew you; go away from me, you evildoers.”
