I tend to go to Amazon, Play.com (though if/when they ditch second-hand items/sellers I'm gone), eBay, and Google Shopping, but I'll buy what I want almost anywhere. I've tried using standalone comparison sites but they're crap, and that's essentially what I use Google for. It tends to come down to postage!
