http://www.techradar.com/news/audio/spo ... ar-1272606 That's the best rebuttal I've seen in a long time, even if some of it's bollocks of course (I use Grooveshark because the song listed is the version I'll actually be friggin' hearing, Spotify). I suspect downloads are, er, down, is because if you get out of the habit of even buying music digitally something is seriously wrong with the industry. Music has never had such a high profile, and FOR FREE. But it almost exclusively relies on kids and the Xmas market, so of course it's fcuked. Christ, even the people who can sing are autotuned to high hell now. You've heard one you've heard them all. |
