The only way FIFA is likely to be motivated to make changes is if the stink gets so much that the really big sponsors start pulling out (Coca Cola, Budweiser, Visa, that sort of level). There appear to be some early indications of nervousness about the whole thing but the gravy train is still too big for the major sponsors to risk derailing it (nearly said rock the boat there, bit of a mixed metaphor) and football fans don't seem to be overly bother either.
