It's a new fcuking house we need...

had my house done with solid wall insulation in march of this year, nice and cosy ...

I wish my landlord would get solid wall insulation on my house. Mid terrace so the main part of the house is 'insulated' by the houses on either side but the kitchen and bathroom aren't and guess where the black mould tends to have a field day.

Not sure solid wall insulation would stop that. Might do, might make it worse. I've got a mid terrace and I have some similar issues. Yours built about the early 1900's? The problem is a lot of them were built without a damp-course so you're pretty much going to get damp when you get a lot of rain unless your drainage is absolutely perfect - might be worth checking your guttering, if that's all good it can slow it down a lot. Mine needs a new liquid DC putting in, about a grand per wall. It was done in the 70's (you can see the drill holes) but apparently they only last about 40 years... I can imagine a lot of landlords deciding a bit of redecorating/replastering between tenants is cheaper than that level of investment.

The bathroom in particular is probably the coldest room in the entire house. It wouldn't surprise me if it was a drainage issue mind as there is a downpipe from the gutter on the problem corner but it's cemented into the ground so I can't tell if there's anything wrong with it. I've lived in the house for 6 years so the landlord hasn't had an opportunity to cover it up.
On my last inspection from the letting agent they actually appear to have decided the mould issue is a problem that requires fixing - talking about extractor fans and redecorating although I don't really expect either to have a massive effect.
