Presumably the enormous ones that already can't cope will be beefed up. Yeah? Yeah?

With this country being so damn rural, it would be difficult to get any critically ill patients to one of the "enormous ones" in decent time, I reckon.
I dunno ... 10 does seem a heck of a lot, but the geographical location covered by them is pretty big.

My children were born in a hospital 4 miles away,if & when they have kids it's now 14 miles to the local maternity ward.
I travel 40 miles to Belfast for my treatment. The wife has an appointment 33 miles away in Newry. So yeah close some down and I'll start going to the mainland or Dublin. It's not a problem honest

Yeah, the closest my mum could get an appointment for a particular scan was Downpatrick from Belfast! And considering only my sister drives...
