A shame - I like the dinosaur. Guess I’ll have to go in via the Earth gallery where there’s an awesome stegosaurus.

Mind you, they should rework the dinosaurs bit anyway. A lot of it is dreadfully out of date, and the suspended skeletons are filthy - covered in dust and other detritus. It brings in the crowds - too many of them for the current space - and it’s a poor way to handle the subject.

I'd love to have a day to look round there by myself.
The two times I've been I've had at least one of my boys with me. There was a lot of running around looking at the big things, and not much time to look at things in detail.

I suggest while the change is being done they cordon off the affected area with white sheeting on which they project 'One of Our Dinosaurs Is Missing'.

The big pod right down the left of the building is interesting. It does suffer a little from design > science, but worth a look.
