http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31138539I don't follow football, but I didn't realise you couldn't even comment on it. Worse has been done in that sport to bring it into 'disrepute'.

What a log of rubbish.
Sounds like the FA is trying to blow a storm in a teacup into a typhoon in a tinbath.

I guess there is commenting and then there is is making an accusation of bias without presenting any evidence. Almost by definition being a Ref is a tough job and there are rules in place to protect them. If a manager believes the ref has genuinely been biased (as opposed to just throwing their toys out of the pram because it didn't all go their way) then I assume there are official FA procdures for making such an allegation and I suspect it damn sure isn't just taking a swipe in a news conference with no evidence and no ability for the Ref to defend themselves.

The English FA are incredibly strict about referee's integrity being questioned. You can say a referee was rubbish and just about get away with it but if you say or even imply that a referee favoured one team or the other, you're inline to get some sort of comeback from the authorities.
