I saw that and thought WTF.

I'm reminded of a TV film or series about an alien who is on Earth in a human form. He goes to a party and sees people dipping vegetables into dips and eating them. He then pick up a flower and does the same.

just how many people are moving to the UK not aware enough of basics that they don't realise Daffodils are flowers?
