If you had this procedure, you’d basically be a head on someone else's’ shoulders. How would you cope psychologically with that?

It won’t be your blood in your head any more - and you’d need to take pretty powerful immunosuppressants to stop the main body rejecting your head (unlike current transplants where you take these drugs to stop your body rejecting the new, and foreign, tissue).

This is before we even consider the practicalities of trying to live a normal life. Would your partner actually want to be near you any more? Makes activities like sex an interesting subject.

Isn't it a head transplant?

Not from the point of view of the personality in that head

How much life will money buy? How many times could this procedure be performed for a single personality?

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

If you're just moving an increasingly aged brain from body to body at some point dementia is going to set in. Unless you can regenerate the brain whilst keeping the personality/conciousness intact I don't really see the benefit.
