That reads more like people trying to make a career off the back of Depp than anything else.

The owner does something dumb so we kill the dog? What sort of dribbling idiocy is going on down there?

Doesn't England have the same laws?

You have to quarantine animals coming into the UK (or have a valid EU pet passport), otherwise they will be confiscated and destroyed.

Given Australia's experience of non-native species impacts on the local environment their quarantine laws are perfectly understandable and not that different from a lot of other countries.

Depp has been given the opportunity to remove the animals (he was given at least 48 hours I believe). I heard the guy in charge of the quarantine system on the radio a couple of days ago and he made the perfectly valid point that if the law isn't enforced consistently just because someone is rich or famous then they might as well not bother. Just because your a movie star worth millions doesn't (shouldn't) mean you get to thumb your nose up at the law.
